We all know that as time passes the charging capacity of lithium battery decreases and it will not charge at it's full potential like before.We can find out how much your laptop battery giving its potential now by powercfg -energy command.

Step 1 : Open command prompt with administrator privileges by searching 'cmd' in start and right click on it and then select 'Run as administrator'

Step 1 : Open command prompt with administrator privileges by searching 'cmd' in start and right click on it and then select 'Run as administrator'
Step 2 : Type 'powercfg -energy' and hit enter.
- It will take 60 second to observe your system performance and collect all data about it and after overview, it will create data report.
- Created data report will save as written path in cmd.
- Default path is : C:\Windows\System32\energy-report.html
Step 3 : In energy-report HTML file-scroll down till you find 'Battery Information'.
- It shows Battery ID,Manufacturer,Serial Number of battery,chemistry,Design capacity and most important Last Full Charge.
- In this pic we can see that battery's capacity is 31680 and now its giving charge of 32060.(Since this is report of new laptop-its efficiency is 101.19% because i overcharged it.FYI : overcharging cause shortage of battery life)
FYI : Read that report carefully and you will find many interesting things about your laptop.
